The days of radical Islam breeding terrorist's such as Osama Bin Laden, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, and others may be shifting to a more home grown terrorist. It has been so hard for terrorist's from radical Islamic countries, to break through the defense that the US and it's allies have put up, that a bigger effort has been established to recruit from our own backyards.

A terrorist that looks like us and may even live down the street from you or me, is the one that terror groups are targeting to fill their ranks and train at their camps of hate. These are people that are usually young and disgruntled with America, democracy.

I've seen their tactics on Face Book. They come into groups, two or three at a time, and just start leaving comments and saying controversial statements so that they can get things and  people all revved up, and then see who is sympathetic to their causes. Once that is established, they send side emails and try to sway them over to their side.

Anwar Awlaki, an American-born militant suspected of involvement in multiple terrorist plots against the United States, was born in New Mexico and educated in the U.S. Running off to  Yemen, where he has emerged as a key leader in Al Qaeda and has been involved in numerous attempts to attack U.S. targets in recent years. He is one of the top targets of American forces and was just targeted by a drone attack.

Adam Yahiye Gadahn, born Adam Pearlman, was born inOregon, and raised a Protestant Christian, and home schooled through high school by his parents on an isolated farm in Western Riverside County, California. Gadahn converted to Sunni Islam in 1995, at the age of 17. He is on the FBI's most wanted list as an Al Qaeda member.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, opened fire at Fort Hood in Texas, killing twelve, and wounding 31 others, before he was wounded and captured.

Born in Virginia to parents who had emigrated from Jordan and moved to the U.S. from a Palestinian town near Jerusalem, Prior to the shooting, he had expressed extremist views which had been brought to the attention of his superiors and the FBI.They were ignored.

These were Americans that were recruited and brought into Al Qaeda right from our own back yard. You could have seen them or talked to them and you would never have known what was going on inside. They looked like any other American just going about their daily lives.

If you think that just because Osama Bin Laden has been killed, we can start easing back a bit on the throttle, in our fight against terrorism, you have another thing coming.

Much information was taken from the compound that Bin Laden had been living in for the past five or six years, and I think you will see a lot more deaths, and maybe even captures, of some of these top Al Qaeda operatives. You know that there has got to be a lot more of them scurrying around for new cover as we glean over all this new found information, but the war is far from being over.

I think this could be a complete change on the war against terrorism, depending on how we handle, the death of Osama Bin Laden, all this new information that we are going over, and putting the clamps on the new home grown terrorist recruitment that is being targeted by Al Qaeda.

We have to start turning up the heat back home. We can't let these little small groups continue to operate freely and recruit right under our noses. We have got to pay more attention to what goes on right here on our own home turf.

What do you think? How can we tackle this problem? What can we do as American citizens to help stop this wave of hate and crime?

Thanks for waking up the citizens in the US. We know that no matter what happens they still hate Americans, and our way of life. It's too bad they are are killers of ordinary people not heads of our government, like 911. Their minds have been poisoned with a warped sense of reasoning, and you are right there will be no end soon.

I think we are heading into a new era of terrorism. The ideology that these people follow will not die and we have to perpare are selves as best we can.
